I was born in Bogotá.

I spent the first 25 years of my life in the mountains surrounding Bogotá, where, prior to the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors, the indigenous Muiscan people thrived. With a rich history stretching back over 10’000 years, the Muisca were known for their extensive trading networks, ceramics, and salt mining. My family have deep Indigenous roots and I have always felt a strong connection to this land and my Indigenous culture.
